Harrison Hoya Cheerleading

The purpose of HHS Cheerleading program is to promote and uphold school and community spirit, serve as role models at Harrison HS and in the community, develop a sense of good sportsmanship among students, and to strive for better relationships between schools during athletic events.

Harrison Cheerleaders are student-athletes who are expected to uphold the highest standards, academically and physically.  Cheerleading at Harrison High School is a privilege, not a right.

Little Hoya Cheer Camp

What to expect:

  • Cheers, chants, dance, jumps and stunts!
  • T-shirt included with registration fee
  • Picture with Hoya Dog
  • Arts & Crafts

What’s different this year:

1.  As of May 7, 2021, we will need to still follow the following Covid-19 guidelines

  • While many restrictions have been lifted within the state, we must abide by Cobb County School guidelines.
  • Participants will be required to wear masks
  • Temperatures will be checked daily
  • We will not be rotating multiple times from room to room
  • Participants cannot attend if they have experienced any of the following items 14 days prior to the start of camp – fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, recent loss of taste or smell, close contact or cared for someone with Covid-19, been diagnosed with Covid-19, headache, felt fatigued, muscle or body aches, diarrhea, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomited
  • If any of the above guidelines change prior to camp, you will be updated via the email you provide with your registration.
  • Individually wrapped snacks will be provided, but participants will need to bring their own water bottle.  For planning purposes, this provision will not change.

2.   Camp will be 3 days, instead of 4, due to July 4th being on a Sunday. We want to give everyone the opportunity to be back from vacation.
